SUMMARY: Sam Conway is a developing ruck/forward who returned to the Geelong Falcons as an over-ager this year and was able to have plenty of impact around the ruck stoppages. He is not a huge accumulator of the football, but provided a tall target in eight games for the Falcons in 2018. Not athletically gifted, Conway could play both ruck and forward roles, and provide a big body that could crash packs or provide coverage for his midfielders or small forwards.
