Sienna Hobbs shot into AFLW Draft calculations with a strong top-age season where she was able to show her wares across all three lines. A contested marking star, Hobbs presents as the ultimate key position utility, the 180cm Hobbs provides a contest each and every time she flies. If she does not clunk the mark, she will bring the ball to ground allowing her teammates to create a contest.

Speaking of doing that, it is exactly what Hobbs achieves in each one-on-one, and in 2024, she booted eight goals in 14 games despite rotating between forward, ruck and defence for the Pioneers. At the national carnival, Hobbs kicked a further two goals from her two games. Those traits along with her kick penetration and ruck craft enable her to also shark balls out of the ruck and put it to goal-scoring regions, or able to take a shot herself.

Hobbs' biggest improvement is definitely in her endurance. She will need a gull preseason to be able to compete for long enough against elite level players, while also continuing to work on groundlevel craft such as her tackling.Her aerial work is Hobbs' bread and butter, and that is what will standout to clubs in her draft profile.
