Tiffany King presents the most readymade prospect in this year's AFLW Draft having produced a long and consistent career at SANFLW level. Boasting traits that will assist King in taking the next step up, the 179cm defender is not a massive accumulator, but her numbers did rise in 2024 and she showed the capacity to become more offensive in her play.

The South Adelaide premiership player averaged 10.3 disposals and 3.5 marks in a backline that included South Australian MVP Esther Schirmer. She often took the most dangerous opposition forward and produced some brilliant shutdown roles, with her 18-disposals, seven mark and three-rebound 50 performance in a Round 11 one-point win over West Adelaide the personal highlight game of her year.

King does her best work in the air, is mobile enough to compete with the slightly quicker key forwards, and will wear them like a glove. Her strength and accountability is terrific with a team-first approach to her football. She turned 25 this year and would be a readymade key defensive option for any AFLW club having proven herself in the strongest state league.
