WESTERN Australia’s State Academy members continued their seasons for Round 8 of the WAFL Women’s, with just one more round until the league-wide bye. While Zippy Fish was among those not out there, the other two West Australian AFLW Academy members stood up in their games.

TWO top three sides searching for a fifth win will lock horns tonight at Pentanet Stadium. West Perth and East Fremantle have only lost to Claremont thus far in season 2024, but the winner will go outright second, while the loser drops back to the chasing pack in third.

DESPITE the trio of AFLW Academy members missing and another couple still out with injury, there were plenty of West Australian State Academy members taking to the field for Round 6 in the WAFL Women’s competition.
