State Academy notes: 2024 WAFLW – Round 6

DESPITE the trio of AFLW Academy members missing and another couple still out with injury, there were plenty of West Australian State Academy members taking to the field for Round 6 in the WAFL Women’s competition. A STANDALONE blockbuster match between last year’s top two sides at the end of the regular season takes place tomorrow, with South Fremantle hosting Claremont. While neither team ultimately took home silverware in 2023, both sides will be back with a vengeance to go better in 2024.
