A talented defensive midcourter, Cobden uses her expansive speed and wingspan to impact play and while she is currently down and out of the squad with an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury, she has plenty to offer the Roses and Adelaide Thunderbirds with her tactical brain and clean ball handling skills. With a strong drive down the middle, Cobden can use her netball smarts to impact the play both defensively with her long arms but also her ability to switch over to an attacking mindset and feed crucial ball into the circle. While she doesn’t have a wealth of experience in the Roses, partially because of injury and partially because of the Roses’ dominant midcourt options, Cobden’s versatility and long limbs sees her as a handy option on the bench, able to enter the court and have an immediate impact on court.
