SSN Stats Check: Round 13 2022

As the Suncorp Super Netball competition heads into the final round of the season, let us take a look at who the key stats leaders are at the moment.

Offensive

Goals

As she has done so all year, Jhaniele Fowler leads the single point goal tally and by a long way.

Her current tally is 760, which is well over 100 more then second placed Shimona Nelson, who herself is almost ahead of third places Mwai Kumwenda. Donnell Wallam and Jo Harten round out the top five.

Super Shots

Much like Fowler, Helen Housby has led the super shot tally for much of the year, and still does so.

She is currently three super shots ahead of second placed Harten, so that will be a fascinating side battle to watch out for this weekend.

Sasha Glasgow currently sits in third, followed by Steph Wood and Sophie Dwyer.

Goal Assists

Maddy Proud is having a stellar season, and the goal assists tally she leads reflects that. She leads the tally with 333, followed by Vixens skipper co-captain Liz Watson on 311. Kelsey Browne is next on 290 followed by Alice Teague-Neeld and Jamie-Lee Price.

Offensive Rebounds

Not only is Fowler a goal scoring machine this season, she is a rebounding machine too. She has 45 offensive rebounds to her name thus far this season, which is four more then second placed Kumwenda. Nelson, Wallam and Housby round out the top five.

Defensive

Rebounds

When it comes to defensive rebounds, West Coast skipper Courtney Bruce is narrowly the Queen. She has 37 rebounds to her name, which is one higher than Adelaide star Shamera Sterling.

Then there is a bit of a gap to third places Jo Weston, but she is not too far ahead of fourth places Eboni Usoro-Brown and fifth placed Matilda McDonell.

Deflections

Moving across to Deflections, and it is Bruce again who leads from a Thunderbird, but this time it is Latanya Wilson. Sterling sits in third, followed by Sarah Klau and Maddy Turner.

Intercepts

Moving across to the Intercept tally, and as she has for much of the season, it is Sterling who still leads, followed by Bruce. Sterling’s team mate Wilson sits in third, followed Klau and Amy Parmenter.
