2025 AFL National Academy squads announced
THE AFL has today announced the squads for next year’s boys and girls National Academy programs. Among the inductees are AFL Life Members Education Assistance Award recipients Willem Duursma and Georja Davies, who each earned a $10,000 scholarship grant.

Next year’s intake marks the 28th annual edition for the boys, along with the girls’ ninth. Both programs feature the most talented draft age (2007-born) prospects for 2025, including players from each state and territory, and a variety of cultural backgrounds.
Players will converge for three camps over the next year, the first being a high performance program in Melbourne. The boys come together from December 4-6 before the girls take centre stage between December 9-11. Two more camps in 2025 will involve showcase games, with dates to be confirmed.
