Joanne Cregg is one of the AFLW Draft bolters considering her rise to the WAFL Women's competition this year. Since moving across from Ireland last year - where she had forged a successful Gaelic career - the 29-year-old Cregg has moved up from amateurs to the state league level and held her own in an experienced Subiaco midfield. She has explosive athletic traits and a natural game sense, while winning it from the stoppages and getting it forward. Though her fundamentals are still building - as one would expect with a cross-coder - her raw talent is evident and given the success of Lions teammate Amy Mulholland last season, Cregg could be one the Dockers turn to this year.
