Alysha Healy is a lightning quick forward out of the Sturt Football Club who has improved each year to continue to keep her name in the AFLW Draft frame. Originally from the Northern Territory, Healy found her way to the SANFL Women's and has enjoyed some great performances with the Double Blues. In 2023, Healy kicked eight goals in 13 games, which might be a drop from 14 in 15 from 2022, but less chances in 2023 and at times playing higher afield meant it altered her individual ability to score.

Healy impressed during the SANFL Women's Under 23 All-Stars match against the State Academy, being one of the best that day and looking ever dangerous Turning 23 in September, Healy is hitting the beginning of what should be her peak footballing career, and she has gradually learnt more tricks and tips to have sustained impact on matches.

Her disposal average at SANFL Women's level remained about the same as 2022, but her efficiency and impact-per-possession went up, as did her tackles. The latter was perhaps the most noticeable as she went from 2.3 per game in 2022, to 3.9 in 2023. It showed she is willing to get her hands dirty and not just be the finisher that she has always been, and was another string to add to her bow.

Though she can still be inconsistent and her production rates remain on the lower side, she has natural footballing abilities with her smarts and forward craft that holds her in good stead. Healy should be one of the mature-agers considered in this year's AFLW Draft having nominated nationally.
