Chelsea Chesterfield is a clever small forward who can also push up to a wing and have an impact, but largely plays that impressive outside role. At 21 years-old, Chesterfield is still young and has plenty of seasons ahead of her, with her ability to consistently hit the scoreboard at QAFL Women's level a feature of her game.

After returning from injury this year, Chesterfield was quick to make her mark for Coorparoo, kicking five of her side's six goals in a win over Yeronga South Brisbane and kicked a major in all bar two of her nine games this season. She kicked 11 goals in a purple patch from Round 11-13, and though she only converted the one more in the final three games of her year, came up against stiffer opposition.

Chesterfield is regarded as a clean player with good hands, and a great feel for the game. She can do a lot of damage on the scoreboard when she is lurking around ground level, but is equally adept in the air and is one of the better contested markers for her size. She averaged one contested mark per game, showing she can still hold her ground even when copping contact. Her natural competitiveness helps her with this element in her game, and is another big tick in her overall profile

Her 1-wood has largely been her ability to kick goals over the years, and she does that well. In terms of her improvements, her production could lift, and her inside game is an area to develop should she add extra strings to her bow there. Overall though, Chesterfield could be that readymade sneaky small forward who can provide immediate forward depth to an AFLW club, having nominated nationally in this year's AFLW Draft.
