Lachlan Cabor has enjoyed back-to-back years in the AFL Academy and solidified his position as a small defender among this year's AFL Draft crop. Though not always being as effective as he could be, Cabor enjoyed some big roles on opposition forwards. Cabor has a natural aggression to his game, and while his production numbers are not always high depending on the role, he had a more balanced role for the Swans Academy at Talent League level.

His one-on-one work along with his defensive accountability make him perfect for a lockdown role, and though his kicking efficiency and decision making can improve, he has a nice burst of speed that he likes to use on the rebound or when bustling through packs. He broke through for his VFL debut this year, playing three games for the Swans, and may be a rookie option as a home grown talent.
