POSITION: Tall Defender

Producing a remarkable season for the Double Blues at Reserves level where he played seven games and averaged 18 disposals, four marks and eight rebound 50s, Becker also represented South Australia at the Under 19s carnival. He did not quite have the same impact, though returned solid performances playing at both ends. He still knows how to find the football and provide that anchor out of defence, but just needs more consistency holding grabs.

After recording a 77cm running vertical jump off his right foot at the recent South Australian Draft Combine, Becker showcased his athleticism to be able to impact in the air. He has some nice traits that held him in good stead at junior level, and will be looking to improve that against senior opponents. He has a role to play as a rebounding defender, but as he showed in his recent Under 19s carnival, was thrown forward at different points and slotted multiple goals to suggest he has future versatility.
