Aussie Constellation Cup Squad finally revealed

AFTER much speculation and concern from fans, the Australian Diamonds have finally revealed who is in their Constellation Cup squad for the upcoming series with New Zealand.

There are plenty of familiar faces in the 12-player squad, with 10 of them having also been a part of the recent World Cup winning squad.

With Ash Brazill and Steph Wood retiring from international duties over the past few months, it opens the door for Sophie Dwyer and Kate Moloney to return to the squad.

The Diamonds enter a training camp today before the Constellation Cup begins next week, with the squad for the South African series set to be named after that training camp.

One name that is not in the Constellation Cup squad and will not be in the South Africa series squad is Maddy Proud, who is unavailable for selection after recent knee surgery.

This training camp in Canberra has a few extra faces, with Tippah Dwan, Hannah Mundy, Alice Teague-Neeld and Ash Ervin all coming along as invitees.

The 2023 Constellation Cup series begins in Melbourne a week from today.
