A Queensland pathways product who has proved more than capable of stepping up to Suncorp Super Netball level, Dwan has made the switch to Adelaide Thunderbirds for 2022 after a number of years in the Queensland Firebirds system. While she did not necessarily earn the court time she was after in 2021, the upcoming season will be an excellent opportunity for her to step up in the pink instead of purple and provide an element of leadership within the Thunderbirds side rather than being the youngster of the group.

The young goal attack has been a handy fixture within the Firebirds squad over the past few years, well and truly stepping up in 2020 before somewhat being forced to take a backwards step in 2021, so will relish the opportunity to step out in new colours and utilise her excellent skillset. Amongst her accuracy and ability to shoot from range, Dwan also offers a calm head and clean hands, able to open up space in the goal circle and find the goals with ease. With greater court time and new combinations at the Thunderbirds, she has the ability to develop into a more commanding option at the post. Dwan has dealt with her fair share of setbacks over the years, but will be hoping to once again showcase her signature movement on court and impress in 2022.
