Bath blooding plenty of new faces in 2024
TEAM Bath have become the latest of the Netball Super League clubs to announce their full squads for the 2024 season.
Like a few of their rivals, Bath have had a bit of list turnover this offseason, with a number of new faces joining the club.
The first of these is not technically a new face, but Tash Pavelin returns to the squad after missing all of the 2023 season with injury.
Phoebe Maslen is also not technically a new face, but has earned a promotion from Training Partner to full squad member.
Someone who is a new face is Ellie Ervine, who at only 20 years old is definitely on the younger end of league inclusions ahead of this season. She has come through the Bath Under 21s team.
Bath has also looked across the globe for new faces for their team.
Scottish Thistle Emma Barrie is another of the new faces and comes down to Somerset from the Strathclyde Sirens.
The final two new faces however have come from even further away.
Lisa Putt is a Kiwi who has come to the other side of the world from ANZ Premiership side the Stars, while Aussie Sloan Burton comes to England from the West Coast Fever, where she was a Training Partner and a member of their Australian Netball Championships team.
With these inclusions comes departures, and Imogen Allison, Summer Artman, Betsy Creak, Caroline Mtukule, Annie O’Rourke, Hannah Passmore and Ali Wilshier are the 2023 squad members who will not be pulling on the blue and yellow again in 2024.
Bath have also announced their training partners for 2024, with George Ford, Lily Jones and Ellen Morgan being the lucky trio to get the slots.
