Super Netball Clubs finally finish 2024 picture
ALTHOUGH all of the Suncorp Super Netball signings were finalised last week, some clubs took longer than others to reveal who they had signed. Here’s who has been announced to be playing in the SSN in 2024 after our last update last week.
Adelaide Thunderbirds
The reigning champions announced their last three players. The only one of the trio to be returning from the 2023 squad is star defender Shamera Sterling, while the two new faces are former Lightning midcourter Laura Scherian and former Swifts shooter Romelda Aiken-George.
Melbourne Mavericks
The newest kids on the block had three more players to announce. They were former Giants Amy Parmenter and Lauren Moore, and former Swift Tayla Fraser.
NSW Swifts
The Swifts announced their last four players, with shooter Helen Housby, midcourter Allie Smith and defender Teigan O’Shannassy all re-signing, and midcourter Lili Gorman-Brown getting a permanent spot in the 10 after being an injury replacement for much of the back half of 2023.
