2021 Davis Cup Finals nominations confirmed
IT is less than a month away until the 2021 Davis Cup Finals kick off with some big names competing in the tournament. Lead by world number one Novak Djokovic and world number two Daniil Medvedev, there are plenty of stars across each line.
The tournament is split into six groups of three (18 teams), with the winner of each group, and the next two highest ranked nations, making up the quarter finals. From there, it is a knockout all the way to the title. Among the contenders are Russia, Italy, Serbia and Spain, with the in-form Great Britain the roughie in the tournament.
Three cities host the event, with Madrid, Spain doing the bulk of the work including most finals, whilst Innsbruck in Austria and Turin in Italy also hold group matches and a quarter final each. Spain is the reigning Davis Cup titleholder with Canada the runner-up last year.
