Season 7 AFLW All Australian Squad Revealed

THE SEASON 7 AFLW All Australian Squad has been named, with a full squad of 42 revealed earlier today.

Minor Premiers Brisbane have the most number of players in the squad with six, while Adelaide, Melbourne, Geelong and Richmond have the next highest with four players apiece.

Emma Kearney is in line for her seventh consecutive All Australian jacket, while Karen Paxman returns to the squad after missing last season’s squad and is in line for her sixth appearance.

However, reigning W Medallist Emily Bates and Bulldogs star Kirsty Lamb are among the list of notable absentees from the squad.

Essendon are the only of the four Season 7 expansion clubs to get any players in the squad, with no one making the 42 from fellow expansion sides Sydney, Hawthorn and Port Adelaide.
