Sturt midfielder Isobel Kuiper earned the captaincy duties for this week’s hypothetical side, racking up 26 disposals, 12 tackles and seven clearances in the Double Blues’ big win over the Eagles. She was joined in the side by fellow midfielder and captain, Kate Harris, ruck Jasmin Fejo, impact forward Georgia Swan and young running defender Sophie Thredgold who all earned their places in the team.

The Round 11 vice-captain is South Adelaide defender Tiffany King who was staunch in the back 50 during the Panthers’ one-point nail-biter over West Adelaide. Incredibly she is one of three defenders from her side in the back 50, with Jaslynne Smith and Esther Schirmer the other two. Under 16s young gun Layla Vizgaudis slotted onto a wing, while consistent on-baller Nikki Nield was named at rover.

Norwood’s season-defining win over Central District resulted in four players making the Round 11 team. Hard running outside talent Tahlita Buethke was named on a wing, while midfielder Jade Halfpenny was squeezed to half-forward where she can be just as effective. Kiana Lee and Adrienne Davies join her inside 50 after combining for three goals from 33 disposals and nine marks in a low-scoring match.

North Adelaide’s groundbreaking win over ladder leaders Glenelg resulted in three players making the side. Two Roosters were named in defence, being Kristi Harvey and Ella Metcalfe, while the eye-catching Aprille Crooks was named on the bench. The Roosters opposition just had the one representative with Team of the Week lock Jessica Bates once again a standout with 30 touches and nine clearances and named on-ball.

The remaining three losing sides all had two representatives in the Round 11 Team of the Week, with West Adelaide duo Nicole Hooper and Chloe Tonkin, Central District pair Shelby Smith and Tess Gerhardy, and Eagles youngsters Grace Martin and Christina Leuzzi.

The three emergencies chosen this week were South Adelaide’s Jordann Hickey, West Adelaide’s Olivia Smith and Sturt’s India Rasheed.
