A STANDALONE Saturday evening match between second placed Claremont and seventh placed East Perth is next up in our previews for the spread out WAFL Women’s Round 16 of action. The Tigers can secure the double chance with a win, while the Royals can spoil the party if they get up.

Claremont essentially secured second place after putting it back in the Tigers’ control with a win over Subiaco last week. Though not completely convincing like the Peel Thunder victory, now all Claremont has to do it win to earn a double chance. East Perth has avoided the wooden spoon in its second season, and will want to finish off on a high.

CHANGES

Claremont has wheeled out the changes for the clash, bringing in a number of crucial players. Among them are midfielders Emily Bonser and Claudia Wright, as well as young gun Juliet Kelly, experienced utility Rachel Ortlepp and Laura Cinnani. The Tigers will be without reigning Dhara Kerr Medallist Jayme Harken and tall utility Anjelique Raison for the clash, as well as Charlotte Tompkin, Tazma Hutson and Bridie Garlick.

East Perth has made the two changes with Courtney Lindgren and Kiahn Perry replacing Tierrah Miller and Havana Milner.
