Georgia Foran is an overager who put together a consistent top-age season with the Sandringham Dragons last year as a rebounding defender. Strong overhead and in the contest, Foran is a booming kick which was often used to clear the danger. Averaging around nine rebound 50s per game, Foran is a player who is often handed either a shutdown role or third tall where she can find the hole in the defence and intercept. She missed out on being picked up in 2022, but has the readymade capacity to impact at the top level.

After spending time with Sandringham earlier in the year, Foran headed to Southern Saints to play out the remainder of her season in the VFL Women's. There, Foran played 10 games, averaging 12.1 disposals, 3.0 marks and 2.7 rebound 50s. She became the second most profile rebounder from the Saints' defensive 50 and showed her natural ability to read the ball in flight and clear the danger via her penetrating kick.

Strong one-on-one, Foran competes consistently and can bring the ball to ground if she doesn't mark it, but does have that lack of athleticism which is the big question mark on her game. It is likely Foran will be one to take on the stronger tall forwards if she makes it to AFLW level, and though she is that slight bit smaller at 174cm, can compete against bigger opponents due to her strength and smarts.
