PROFILE:

One of only two mature-age prospects who received AFLW Draft Combine invites, Stockwell was our top ranked mature-ager from the 2024 season. She booted 20 goals in 13 games playing for South Fremantle in the WAFLW, averaging 14.5 disposals and 4.3 marks as well. Though she is undersized at 165cm for the role she plays as a marking forward, Stockwell does it well and has proven herself against quality defenders.

Stockwell's ability to hit the scoreboard was frequent in 2024, with the Bulldogs forward kicking goals in 11 of her 13 games. That included seven hauls of multiple goals, while recording double-digit disposals each week. Her marking was a huge factor in her game, and the hurt factor she showed with each touch in the forward half was evident.

The knock on Stockwell's profile is her speed and endurance, but having largely focused on her cricket -where she represented Western Australia - the 20-year-old has now honed in on taking her football more seriously. She could be a bargain pickup for clubs given her readymade status and offers a point of difference as a medium forward with great marking and set shot goalkicking appeal.
