Panthers and Demons trios lead Team of the Week

THERE were a lot of stellar performances across the weekend in Round 10 of the Women’s Firsts competition. Among the final team this week are three players from both Dandenong and Melbourne, and a Ringwood Ram who’s normally more known for her bowling is in for her stellar batting performance from the weekend.

1. Rhiann O’Donnell (Melbourne)

Melbourne got another dominant win on the weekend, and it was off the back of O’Donnell’s excellent innings with the bat. She made 98 in the win.

2. Amy Vine (Melbourne)

Vine continued her excellent form this season. She smashed 80 in her side’s win over Plenty Valley.

3. Una Raymond-Hoey (Ringwood)

Raymond-Hoey had another stellar innings with the bat, and alongside Erin Carroll helped kept the Rams in the match and things could have been very different without her 72 runs.

4. Erin Carroll (Ringwood)

Normally known for her stellar bowling, Carroll had a fine innings with the bat on the weekend. She made 65 and alongside Raymond-Hoey kept her side in the match.

5. Tiana Atkinson (Dandenong)

Atkinson’s 62 against Ringwood ensured that chasing down the Rams target was never going to be an issue.

6. Emily Smith (Essendon Maribyrnong Park) (Wicketkeeper)

Smith took a nice catch and registered a stumping in the Bombers’ win over Prahran.
