India started the day well, with Pooja Vastrakar and Deepti Sharma putting on a 122 run partnership for the eighth wicket. However, once the wickets started to fall things got a lot easier for the Australians, with the final three wickets all falling within a three and a half over spell.

McGrath would ultimately be the top scorer for the Australians for the day with 73, with Perry finishing on 45.

On the flipside it was Sneh Rana and Harmanpreet Kaur who were the pick of the bowlers, both picking up two wickets each.
